OPEN MINDS AND OPEN HEARTS,
THE THINGS THAT SET US APART!!!!
Oh my fuck! Last night was in-fucking-credible.
Smoke & Mirrors - Liked 'em from the start, but they seriously just step it up and get better and better each time I see them. They also won Compliment of the Year from Bane lol
Steel Nation - Saw them at Decembercon, still good. Chugga chugga. No me gusta the bass players super deep neanderthal vocals. But solid. Fuggin Corey Goss punched me in the face a good half dozen times and landed a kick in my ribs lol
Hank Jones - Their last show ever. I am officially not a kid anymore :-( They played so so so well. Ended up on the floor with Will under about 50 people for Pizza Party haha.
Have Heart - Not SUPER into Have Heart, but I like em and holy shit what a show. They played the 5 songs I wanted to hear, and damn was it intense! Pat Flynn loves what he does lol And he's man-pretty. TC gave my Youth Of Today shirt some serious retard neck. Jumped on stage, fell back, straight to the ground smashin my elbow.
BANE - TOP 5 FAVORITE HARDCORE BANDS. HOLY SHIT. Just incredible man. Aaron Bedard is hands down the ugliest man in hardcore, and I fuckin love him. They played almost every single song I wanted to hear. I would have killed for them to play Superhero and Speechless. He did a little speech about true love and such before Swan Song[which I always viewed as a love song anyways] which was actually kind of sad. But it's good to know that they still believe and feel everything they play. God, I fuckin love Bane.
Throughout the night...I got the shit kicked out of me. Mainly by my friends, but also from all the incessant stage diving on my head lol This one big friggin dude kept jumpin up on the stage, but he had NO hops at all. He couldn't jump high enough to get over people, so he would just kinda kick me in the face and fall back on the stage.
Got kicked in the head so many times, I forgot half of my Math final this morning. Oh well!

That's a shoe print. And it is MUCH much worse in real life.
